Crete is the largest and most fertile island of Greece that has a well-established tradition in Olive tree cultivation. Slow-growing, organic olive trees, watered naturally and kept small in size to be better nourished by the sun, offering a tiny, precious quantity of ‘green gold’, usually a tenth of what standard olive trees produce. The organically farmed tree leaves are hand-picked every winter and dried naturally before being extracted at the KORRES extraction facility.
